About Us
Forest Glen Sports Association is a small homeowners association with 50 lots in our community. Founded in 1968 as a sports and hunting community; with very few permanent structures. Forest Glen has transformed into a community with over half of our residents who live here all year.
We have a beautiful 2- 1/2 acre lake and a community clubhouse; complete with a full kitchen, pool table, stereo, comfortable furniture and a meeting table. In 2017, our community voted to install a Colorado state sponsored, private water system; using government grants and loans. Our new water system is owned by our community and is paid for using HOA monthly dues. All residents who are current on their monthly dues are given 3,000 gallons of water. Additional usage is charged at specific rates per 1,000 gallons used. We have a limited amount of water produced each month by our private well; so conservation is necessary by each household.
Core Values Of the Homeowners Association
- Keeping our community beautiful
- Maintaining our water system to meet or exceed State of Colorado water requirements.
- Limited HOA involvement in property matters.
- Maintenance and repair of community assets.
- Safety of all residents
All of the roads in our community are County roads and maintained exclusively by Teller County.
The Homeowners Association has no control over snow removal, condition of roads, speeding on County roads, or illegal activity.
Concerns over snow removal or grading of roads should be brought to the attention of Teller County public works. Phone: (719) 687-8812
Speeding on our roads, untagged vehicles on our roads, or any illegal activity; should be brought to the attention of the Sheriff’s office in Divide. Phone: (719) 687-9652
Excessive trash, excessive junk, abandoned vehicles, untagged vehicles on private property and pets running wild should be reported to Teller County Code Enforcement by going to their website and filling out a complaint form. https://tellercounty.gov/Code-Enforcement
On the west side of our community, we have an access road to National Forest and camping near Lake George. This brings many strangers to our neighborhood from the camping areas. This is rarely a problem but has resulted in strangers inspecting vacant properties. We ask all residents to please stay vigilante in keeping an eye on our community and report any issues to the Sheriff’s office in Divide.
